At CATEC we spend lots of time celebrating our students who enter the workforce in their CATEC industries. Today we're giving a shout out to our students who are entering 4-year universities in the fall. Congrats also goes out to the countless students who will be attending PVCC as well as CATEC's Adult Education and Apprenticeship Programs to continue their training.

Congrats to our Auto Service Tech program and its instructor Matt Richardson for being named the Virginia Depart of Education's Region 5 Creating Excellence Secondary Advisory Committee award recipient. Congrats to our scholarship and award recipients! 10 CATEC students were awarded 11 scholarships totaling $13K in educational savings from the Rotary Club, Blue Ridge Area Homebuilders Association, and Trades and Technical Education Foundation. Additionally, some of our Fire Science students and CATEC staff were given special awards for the bravery they exhibited recently. Congrats to our students!
CATEC’s Completers Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Monticello High School, beginning at 7pm. Students should arrive at 6:30pm to line up with their classes, wearing graduation-appropriate attire. Students who need ceremony gowns should have already seen Ms. Wood at CATEC.
