Richard Morris from Cultivate Charlottesville joined our Culinary Arts class to discuss sustainable farming & food justice. Students took notes & Mr. Morris gave them a tour of the garden space on CATEC property. We're looking forward to seeing the garden flourish.
We've wrapped up Feb & are heading into March. Yesterday students were treated to a Black History Month presentation by 2 students, Elesia & Pleasant. The presentation included famous black historical figures & featured African drummers. Students were treated to Wayside.
Wish good luck to our Nurse Assistant students who begin their clinical experiences today at a local nursing home! This real life experience brings students' knowledge & technical skills together to prepare them for their Board of Nursing exam in spring. We know you'll do great!
