CATEC is looking for an Office Associate V in the Adult Education office.

Who we are:

We are a small office that serves the local trade industry by offering Department of Labor and Industry approved apprenticeship classes, as well as adult education programs, for local adults wanting to change their careers or receive skills training to help them find employment. We pride ourselves on being committed to our students, and we work closely with our area businesses and community partners.

What knowledge, skills, and abilities we need you to have:

Being the Office Associate V necessitates you being well-versed in database software and the Microsoft Suite. You will also need to be tech-savvy with strong written and verbal communication skills. Because you are the first point-of-contact, exemplary customer service traits, being even-tempered, and the ability to multi-task are critical. We want you to really enjoy interacting with adult students, instructors, and business partners; we do what we do because of them. We strongly encourage collaboration, taking initiative, and being pro-active.

What you will be doing:

You will be working 12 months a year from 8:00am-4:30pm as an integral part of the Apprenticeship and Adult Education office of CATEC. Your work will directly serve the adult students who attend CATEC classes, the CATEC instructors, and our community and business partners. Specifically, your roles will include managing the database information system, coordinating student attendance and grade reports, and providing reception, technical, and clerical support to the Apprenticeship and Adult Programs Coordinator.
